PEOPLE & COMMUNICATIONS BUSINESS PARTNER, NORWAY, DENMARK & ICELAND

KONE is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded People & Communications Business Partner to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to drive people and communications strategies that align with KONE’s business objectives. This role will be responsible for Norway, Denmark & Iceland and report to the Director, People & Communications, Nordics. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of the business and support the creation of a great workplace environment.
The preferred location of the position is Oslo, Norway, as this position focuses mainly on Norwegian employment and HR matters.

Responsibilities
  • Business partnering: understand and translate business objectives into people and communications priorities. Advise and coach business leaders and actively contribute to leadership team discussions.
  • Strategy deployment: drive the people and communications agenda aligning with KONE’s strategic direction and fostering a great workplace culture.
  • Local people operations: collaborate with the People Operations team to meet local requirements.
  • Union and labor relations: collaborate on labor relations topics and ensure compliance and conflict resolution.
  • Engagement: own the unit’s engagement agenda, manage engagement surveys, and support managers in enhancing employee engagement.
  • Culture, Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity : Develop and execute initiatives to promote KONE’s culture and advance diversity, inclusion, and equity.
  • Change management: Support business transformations and provide coaching, training, and hands-on support.
  • Internal and external communications : Ensure effective representation of internal and external communications in the people and communications agenda.
  • Workforce planning : Analyze and forecast workforce needs, develop approaches to meet them, and support related actions.
  • Mergers and acquisitions : Provide active support in people-related aspects of M&A efforts.
  • Organization development and capability building : Support strategic direction through organization design and consult on organizational changes.
  • Employment lifecycle consultation : Guide the business in employment and labor law matters and ensure compliance.
  • Health and wellbeing : Advise on health and wellbeing strategies and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Business partnering for annual People and Communications processes : Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth delivery of processes and focus on outcomes.
