WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US The People Consultant – HR Operations is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high-quality employee experience. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, People Business Partners, and COEs to execute HR processes efficiently while leading continuous improvement and operational excellence. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, employee data management, job changes, transfers, promotions, and exits. Ensure accurate and timely updates in HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll inputs, employee records). Act as a primary point of contact for employee and manager queries related to HR operations and policies. Background Checks & Compliance Coordinate and manage background verification processes for new hires and internal movements. Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards. Maintain documentation and support internal/external audits as required. Stakeholder Management Partner with Hiring Managers, People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery. Communicate process updates, timelines, and requirements clearly to stakeholders. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and optimize HR operational processes. Drive implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time. Support transition of new processes, locations, or scope expansions as required. Reporting & Data Management Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and metrics related to operations, SLAs, and compliance. Always ensure data integrity and confidentiality. Service Delivery & Governance Adhere to defined SLAs and KPIs for HR operations. Support governance forums by providing insights, risks, and improvement recommendations. Contribute to a balanced workload distribution and quality checks (four-eye review where applicable). WHAT WE VALUE Solid understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes. Experience with HRIS platforms and MS Excel (advanced level). Knowledge of background verification processes and HR compliance. Effective stakeholder management and communication skills. High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Continuous improvement mindset with exposure to automation or process optimization initiatives. Education & Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5–8 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or a similar HR role. Experience working in a global or matrixed environment. Key Attributes Customer-focused and service-oriented approach. Ability to organize tasks and time effectively while collaborating within a team. Able to handle frequent changes in priorities and work effectively under shifting demands.
