JOB DESCRIPTION

The People and Culture Advisor plays a key role in supporting Schréder’s Human Resources and Work Health & Safety (WHS) functions. Acting as a trusted advisor, this position provides expert guidance on a broad range of HR matters including employee relations, recruitment, policy development, and compliance. As the first point of contact for WHS-related concerns, the Advisor ensures the consistent application of safety protocols and legislative requirements. Working closely with managers and staff, the role fosters a positive workplace culture and drives the successful delivery of HR and WHS initiatives across the organisation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a People and Culture or HR advisory role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Admin, or similar.
  • Experience supporting blue-collar workers and understanding their workplace needs.
  • Private sector experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in HRIS and HR data management.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment law and WHS legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive issues professionally.
