    As a People & Culture Advisor, you’ll have the chance to partner with leaders across the organisation, providing strategic HR guidance and driving key people initiatives.
    This is a hands-on role that will see you working across the full HR remit, with a mix of operational and tactical work. You will report to the Manager People and Culture working in a tightly knit group of professionals who genuinely care for each other and our stakeholders. Led by the Head of People and Culture, you’ll collaborate across our wider P&C group which includes rewards & remuneration, talent acquisition, learning & development, and workplace relations.
    We’re dynamic and thrive on innovation, and we’re looking for someone who matches our energy! Ideally, you’ve worked in a fast-evolving, matrix environment and understand what excellent P&C practices look like. This generalist role requires expertise across all aspects of HR, with a focus on ER & IR practices.
    You’re a natural at building strong relationships, with a knack for fostering trust and collaboration. With curiosity and drive, you’re committed to seeing things through.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the generalist HR space as a HR Advisor, People & Culture Advisor, Business Partner or similar.
  • HR experience, with a strong background in employee relations, coaching and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Experience guiding senior leaders through change management processes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to partner with all levels across the organisation.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful HR projects.
  • HR experience in industries like construction, water, utilities or infrastructure that are heavily unionised.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with P&C Manager to deliver strategic People & Culture (P&C) outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on HR best practices, including performance management and talent development.
  • Coach leaders on employee performance and guide them through P&C processes to drive excellence.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for complex employee matters, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Support and lead change management initiatives and HR projects to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Facilitate cyclical processes like performance evaluations, compensation reviews, and talent management, ensuring follow-up actions are effectively implemented.
