Responsibilities

ROLE

The People & Culture Assistant will work closely with the P&C lead. This exciting role covers the whole range of employee lifecycles, including recruitment, onboarding, team engagement, training and development, and GDPR compliance, in addition to supporting events organisation and brand alignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

People and Administration
· Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and escalate to the People and Culture Lead as required.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and employment law.
· Assist with employee documentation such as contracts, recruitment paperwork, updating employee handbook and employee benefits
· Support the payroll process as required on a weekly/monthly basis.
· Support recruitment by posting job vacancies, shortlisting applications, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communications.
· Assist the People and Culture Lead on Learning and Development initiatives across the organisation to ensure we consistently grow and develop our people.
· Administration of all employee records across the organisation, ensuring the systems are updated accordingly.
· Work closely with P&C Lead to update and maintain detailed process & procedures documentation.
· Dealing with sensitive, confidential information in line with GDPR guidelines.
Health & Safety/Well-being
· Oversee health and safety policies and ensure all regulatory standards are in place.
· Book all mandatory training across the organisation, including first aid, fire training, safe pass, manual handling, etc.
· Coordinate health checks across the organisation.
· Assist in the creation and roll-out of a well-being strategy annually.
· Comply with all relevant information for CIRI annual renovation.
Culture
· Assist with and roll out employee engagement surveys.
· Support on developing initiatives that enhance Carroll Estates culture, align with our values and drive employee engagement.
· Plan and execute company events, team-building activities and workshops that bring the team together
· Work closely with a Marketing consultant to create digital content.
· Creating presentations and templates that protect the brand guidelines
· Support all areas of the business by creating branded templates in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Ensure all event files are saved according to the job.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €32,000.00 per year
