In this dual-role position, you will partner directly with our ExCom and SMDL Codir members whilst leading and owning the full 360 People and Culture function for the corporate offices in Belgium and Netherlands. This role will require some travel to the Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to influence both regional strategy and local operations, working closely with leaders, teams, and Centres of Excellence to shape a culture where people truly thrive. 🌍 What You’ll Do As a Corporate People and Culture Business Partner (ENA Region): Act as a trusted advisor to ExCom and Codir leaders on all people related matters Support in design and be responsible for the delivery of HR strategies that nuture talent growth, succession, engagement, and performance Serve as the connector between our leadership and project teams (PM, Shared Services, Academy, etc.) Bring strategic People and Culture topics to life through clear, compelling communication Play an active role in People and Culture community Drive action and accountability on Employee Engagement Survey (EES) results Champion and embed our Heartist® culture in every initiative As Local HQ T&C Lead (Belgium or Netherlands): Be the local People and Culture authority on employment law, compliance, and best practices Lead local People and Culture operations, including onboarding/offboarding, training, case management, administration and payroll coordination Support and develop the local People and Culture team, fostering high performance and engagement Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external People and Culture partners Ensure local activities are aligned with regional strategies and communicated effectively Workers council and Union experience is essential for this role 🤝 What You Bring A strong track record in strategic HR partnering within a start up or an international or matrixed organisational environment Deep knowledge of local labor law (Belgium AND Netherlands) Proven ability to influence senior leaders and translate strategy into action A collaborative mindset and cultural fluency to work across countries and functions A passion for talent, engagement, and building great workplaces Qualifications Here is a glimpse at some of your attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Expertise in Belgium Payroll is mandatory Experience managing a full scope of local People and Culture responsibilities Previous experience as an HR Business Partner is a must Background in consultancy or sales is advantageous Strong administration Prior experience in the hospitality industry is highly valued Fluency in English and local language(s) (Dutch and French) Strong project implementation skills in VUCA environments Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Digital mindset and social media affinity High sense of discretion, initiative, and responsibility In-depth knowledge of local labour law and compliance Additional Information What’s in there for you?
