WHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS):

We are seeking a seasoned P&C professional who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Proven Experience:

o A minimum of 3 years of impactful experience as a People & Culture Business Partner, or 5 years as a P&C Generalist.
o At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements and labor relations.

o A demonstrated track record of success in consulting with leaders and coaching for peak performance.

  • Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Savvy:

o Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated track record of working effectively with a diverse range of individuals, teams, leaders and external customers.

o Excellent ability to communicate brilliantly and work collaboratively across departments, locations and as a vital national P&C team member.

  • Proven ability to effectively navigate complex union matters and personalities.

o Agility & Reliability:
o Highly dependable, with strong organizational skills and a demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
o A clear track record in flexing and adapting proactively to rapidly changing priorities.
o The capacity to work effectively individually as well as in a team.
o Technical Proficiency: Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Suite are essential.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Business/Human Resources or a closely related field.
  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly preferred.

  • Employee & Labor Relations Champion: Collaboratively manage and resolve complex employee relations and labor relations matters for the location , maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Driving Change & Growth: Oversee the change management process for the location and advocate for ownership of organizational changes. You’ll coordinate with National P&C resources (functional and shared services) to support the location’s leadership and workforce needs in alignment with company-wide business objectives. You’ll also ensure national policies and practices are consistently implemented and maintained locally, ensuring local compliance with company policies and state laws.
  • Innovation Catalyst: Bring fresh, creative, and innovative solutions to pressing business challenges, constantly seeking ways to enhance our operations.
  • Architect of Employee Experience: Curate and facilitate an exceptional employee experience during the employee lifecycle. This includes actively supporting recruitment , seamlessly onboarding new team members , nurturing a high-performance culture , championing engaging programs, and professionally exiting employees from the company.
  • Talent Developer: Provide robust training and development support, empowering our teams to grow their skills and careers.
  • Future-Focused Planner: Work directly with leaders to plan for future workforce needs.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Actively participate on National P&C teams and contribute to special projects as needed
