Introduction:
THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity is available with the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle for a People and Culture Coordinator to deliver essential administrative and coordination support to the People and Culture Business Partners and Director of People and Culture. This role offers hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, including managing P&C enquiries, leave processes, employment contracts, service recognition, reporting, and key people initiatives.
We're recruiting for two full-time People and Culture Coordinator positions: one permanent and one temporary following internal career progression, giving you the opportunity to join our team in the capacity that best suits you.
As the first point of contact for People and Culture enquiries, you will handle sensitive information with professionalism and play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of P&C services. This position is well suited to a proactive and adaptable P&C professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively balances competing priorities, and brings strong judgement, discretion, and a customer-focused approach, while contributing to a values-driven organisation.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your P&C career, we’d love to hear from you!
