P&C Coordinator Hybrid - Dickinson, ND THE THEODORE ROOSEVELT PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY FOUNDATION “Believe you can, and you’re halfway there.” -Theodore Roosevelt Since 2014, the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation (TRPLF) has been planning and building a new, ambitious kind of presidential library and museum. Other presidential libraries tell the story of a single individual, but the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library (TRPL) – being built more than a century after T.R.’s death – will do more than preserve history. The TRPL will be a people’s library, bringing Roosevelt’s values and relentless spirit to life at a critical time in our nation and world, while simultaneously championing the stories of all who “dare greatly, think boldly, care deeply, and live passionately.” The library is currently being constructed in Medora, North Dakota, with a milestone planned for July 4, 2026 – America’s 250th anniversary. Participants at the TRPL will learn from – not just about – Roosevelt’s story, being transformed into the same stunning Badlands that served as the fulcrum in T.R.’s incredible life story. Guided by the pillar principles of leadership, citizenship, and conservation, the Foundation has partnered with innovative partners – like the award-winning architecture firm, Snøhetta, and the best-in-class story crafters, the Future of Storytelling – to build an institution like no other. With plans to be the most sustainable presidential library and campus ever, a revolutionary approach to interpretive design, and programming that will spread the library’s message into neighboring Theodore Roosevelt National Park and beyond across the globe, the opportunity to join a talented team in building and opening this institution is truly unique. About the Role The P&C Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the employee experience at TRPLF. This position is responsible for coordinating recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives while serving as a primary point of contact for employee questions. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career HR professional or someone transitioning to HR from office management, project coordination, or related experience. We are seeking someone who is highly organized, people-oriented, and eager to grow. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle while helping deliver a thoughtful, consistent, and engaging experience for candidates and employees alike. Core Competencies * Communication & Relationship Building:Builds trust and communicates clearly with employees and candidates * Organization & Coordination:Manages multiple processes, timelines, and details effectively * Customer Service Orientation:Provides responsive, helpful support to employees and stakeholders * Attention to Detail:Ensures accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and processes * Problem Solving & Judgment:Handles routine issues independently and escalates appropriately * Adaptability:Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment Responsibilities * Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination * Partner with hiring managers to ensure a strong candidate experience * Track and report on recruiting metrics * Coordinate onboarding experience and new hire orientation * Maintain onboarding materials and processes * Support performance review cycles and tools * Coordinate safety training and awareness programs * Support training programs and learning initiatives * Support recognition programs and employee experience initiatives * Reinforce positive culture and engagement through programs Education & Experience * 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, administrative,payroll,or project coordination roles preferred * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience * Experience managing multiple priorities, timelines, or projects is a plus Requirements * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines * High levelof professionalism and discretion * Proficiencywith basic systems and tools (HRIS experience a plus) * This is a hybrid role based inthe Dickinson, ND, with the ability to work remotely and a minimumrequirementof two days per week onsite at thelibrarin Medora, ND. Benefits Full benefits include 403(b), medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, as well as 20 days of paid time off and 10 days of holidays. Salary ranges between $55,000 to $65,000, commensurate with experience.
