Position Details
We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our Vancouver office. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting AME in its efforts to create a great workplace for its people.

KEY SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat and familiarity with HRIS software such as ADP (or equivalent).

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • Previous experience working in a design or engineering firm (or similar industry) is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screen interviews and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
  • Supporting new employee onboarding, including orientation and documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records in different systems.
  • Leading employee lifecycle changes. Tracking and documenting probationary periods, team changes, promotions, and other employee status updates. Ensuring all processes are followed, including performance evaluations, promotions, and offboarding procedures, to maintain accurate records and smooth transitions for employees.
  • Assisting with benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and inquiries.
  • Processing and tracking employee leaves of absence, including vacation, sick leave, and other types of leave.
  • Assisting with payroll administration and ensure accurate employee time tracking and compensation records.
  • Acting as a point of contact for People & Culture related inquiries, assisting in conflict resolution, and supporting internal communications to promote company culture and values.
  • Coordinating company events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  • Supporting employee feedback mechanisms (employee surveys, one-on-one check-ins) and helping analyze results to improve the work environment.
  • Providing administrative support to the People & Culture team.
