What You’ll Do:
We are currently seeking a People & Culture Coordinator, who will be responsible for facilitating the human resources processes at Wilson’s distribution centers in Nashville and Mt. Juliet, TN.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the recruitment and interview process for hourly associates and temporary employees; act as the main point of contact for Wilson with temporary staffing agencies.
  • Assist with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including the pre-employment processes, locker assignments, door reader access, benefits enrollment, terminations, exit interviews, employee purchase program, policy administration, employee engagement initiatives, etc.
  • Enter, maintain, and audit employee information in employee files.
  • Create internal tickets and forms for any personnel updates and/or changes.
  • Assist with benefits administration by coordinating informational visits with the Benefits & Wellness Team and answering questions from team members.
  • Conduct compliance training throughout the facilities.
  • Assist the People & Culture Generalists in administering workers’ compensation program.
  • Support the coordination and administration of company-wide initiatives and People & Culture projects.
  • Generate reports from Workday to assist with accrual balances, attendance, staffing, etc.
  • Assist with ordering office supplies and fulfilling catering requests.
  • Administer new hire paperwork and orientation.
  • Oversee Site Employee of the Month program.

What We’re Looking For :
This role requires a High School Diploma or GED. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related area. Prior hands-on experience with HRIS systems like Workday is strongly preferred. This position is based primarily at our Mt. Juliet Distribution Center and requires frequent travel by automobile to our Nashville locations as needed.

Other qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to express ideas, problems, and solutions with clarity.
  • Exercises good judgment, demonstrates solid problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build trust with employees; builds relationships throughout the organization at all levels.
  • the appropriate responses to employee questions and issues using empathy and credibility; ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately escalate sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of state/federal/local employment law and regulations.
  • Organized, strong attention to details, understands the importance of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; demonstrated technical aptitude to learn other computer programs and systems
