To support this momentum, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate People Technology Consultant to design, enhance, and optimise our Workday HCM solution. In this role, you’ll be a key member of our People Technology team - championing best‑practice system use, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring Workday becomes an intuitive, reliable, and value‑adding platform for everyone at Beca. You’ll work across a variety of initiatives, support our people with expert guidance, and help shape how Workday evolves across the organisation. What you’ll be doing Every day will bring new opportunities to make an impact. You will: Translate business needs into scalable, well‑designed Workday solutions and maintain accurate, compliant configuration documentation. Configure, test, and deploy new Workday HCM enhancements, modules and functionality. Assess biannual Workday releases, complete regression testing and provide updates to stakeholders. Triage incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and delivering timely resolutions in line with SLAs, ensuring clear and consistent communication with end users Partner with the wider People & Culture team, Payroll, ICT, and other teams to ensure Workday continues to meet organisational needs. Provide expert advice, training, and support to build Workday capability across Beca. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, simplify workflows, and lift the overall Workday user experience. Ensure all Workday changes align with internal governance, change control, and audit requirements. You’ll be joining a vibrant, globally connected People & Culture team. Ko wai koe | About You You are a curious, forward‑thinking People Technology professional who is passionate about creating great employee experiences through modern, effective systems. You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy turning complex requirements into user‑friendly Workday solutions. You bring: Proven experience across major HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle. At least 3+ years of system administration experience, ideally within a large or complex organisation. A strong understanding of HR processes and how technology can support, simplify, and elevate them. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills - you collaborate naturally and enjoy partnering with stakeholders. A mindset focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
