  • Lead employee relations, performance management and complex people matters with confidence and sound judgement
  • Coach leaders to improve management capability, communication and accountability across their teams
  • Strengthen workforce planning, policies, compliance and HR processes to support continued national growth
  • Maintain a strong presence across the business, splitting time between the St Kilda Road office and operational sites throughout Melbourne, regional Victoria and occasionally interstate

About You

  • Strong capability across employee relations, performance management, recruitment and leadership coaching
  • Confidence influencing senior leaders, challenging decisions when required and driving accountability across the business
  • A hands-on, energetic approach with the ability to connect with both senior leaders and frontline employees
  • Highly regarded, but not essentialExperience within facilities, property services, logistics, transport, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare or another multi-site operational environment
  • Experience building or significantly improving a People & Culture function, recruitment process or employee engagement strategy

  • Build and shape a People & Culture function rather than simply inherit an established model

  • Join a growing national organisation where People & Culture is becoming increasingly important to its next stage of growth
  • Work across both head office and operational environments, staying close to the people and leaders you support
  • This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys creating structure, challenging the status quo and getting people genuinely engaged with the business they work for.
