Description

based 100% in Kempten – with a personal presence on-site and cross-site responsibility for our HR processes. We are looking for someone who manages operational HR tasks with a high degree of reliability, enjoys working closely with people, and is eager to gradually expand their recruiting responsibilities. Responsibilities include:

  • HR Operations along the Employee Lifecycle: Responsibility for preboarding, onboarding, employment contracts and contract amendments, certificates, references and offboarding – fully and on time for our employees in Kempten, Münster and in mobile working.
  • Contact person for operational People issues: Management of the central People mailbox, processing of sick leave notifications, and reliable clarification and coordination of administrative concerns of our employees.
  • Coordination at the Kempten location: Personal presence and availability for employees at the main site, addressing personnel needs and concerns, and systematically communicating relevant topics to the People & Culture Team. Handling guest support for on-site interviews.
  • Personio & Data Quality: Ensuring reliable data maintenance and data quality, mapping relevant changes, and monitoring deadlines, resubmissions, and follow-up activities.
  • Recruiting for Early Careers: Full process responsibility for interns, working students and master's students – from hiring briefing through advertisement, screening and interviews to hiring – as well as support for this employee group throughout their employee lifecycle.
  • Recruiting for junior and mid-level positions: Initially, joint management of selected recruiting processes with the People & Culture Team and, in the long term, independent assumption of own positions with our specialist departments.

For operational tasks such as mail, filing, Personio entries and appointment scheduling, a working student provides on-site support.

Your profile

  • Several years of relevant professional experience: for example in personnel administration, HR services, HR operations or a comparable generalist HR role – ideally with responsibility for contracts, certificates and onboarding.
  • Solid operational HR experience: Confidence in contract and certification matters as well as in the central processes along the employee lifecycle.
  • Structure and reliability: A very careful way of working, a strong focus on detail and the ability to keep track of deadlines and priorities even when several processes are running in parallel.
  • Operational employment law & HR systems: Solid foundations in relevant employment law – especially regarding contract changes or absences – as well as experience with Personio or a comparable HRIS.
  • Interest in recruiting: Motivation to further develop recruiting as an integral part of the role. Initial experience in applicant management or recruiting is welcome, but not required.
  • Excellent German and good English skills: The majority of internal communication and most recruiting processes take place in German.
  • Presence in Kempten: Willingness to permanently perform the position 100% at our location in Kempten.

What is particularly important to us

  • Empathy and interpersonal skills: An open, attentive and approachable personality who builds trusting relationships with employees and managers while maintaining the necessary professional distance.
  • Integrity and judgment: A natural, confidential handling of sensitive information, as well as a good sense of which issues can be resolved operationally and when the involvement of the Senior People & Culture Manager or Director of People & Culture is necessary.
