Description

eformer pilates, made accessible to everyone — that's our mission, and our people are how we deliver on it. We're looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead our P&C function for a 12-month fixed-term contract while our current manager takes parental leave. You'll be a trusted advisor to our Founder and leadership team, own performance, culture, compliance and learning across Australia, the US and UK/EU, and help us build a lean, AI-enabled People & Culture function fit for a fast-scaling business.

THE ROLE

As People & Culture Manager, you'll own the higher-judgement, strategic and compliance-critical side of P&C — performance management, culture and reward, compliance and policy, and Learning & Development — while leading and coaching our Recruitment, Onboarding & Engagement Advisor, who keeps the day-to-day recruitment and onboarding engine running.

  • Own and continuously improve the performance management framework, including probation reviews, annual/bi-annual review cycles, goal-setting processes and performance improvement plans.
  • Lead culture, engagement and reward & recognition strategy across a distributed, global team.
  • Partner with leaders across the business to embed Your Reformer’s mission, vision and values into day-to-day ways of working.
  • Own and administer our Learning Management System, keeping training and compliance learning current across AU, US and EMEA.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify learning needs and build, curate and assign role-specific training content, induction modules and compliance/refresher training via the LMS.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian, US, EU/UK employment legislation, escalating and resolving complex employee relations matters. Work with local employment relation partners where applicable to align compliance.
  • Champion AI and automation across P&C — from policy drafting and compliance tracking to review documentation and LMS content — so the function stays lean as we grow.
  • Lead, coach and support our Recruitment, Onboarding & Engagement Advisor.
  • Prepare paperwork and manage process for employee lifecycle changes (e.g. promotions, redundancies, terminations).
  • Maintain HRIS (Employment Hero for AU and Trinet for US) and ensure accurate record-keeping across the employee lifecycle.
  • Actively identify opportunities to use AI and automation across People & Culture processes (e.g. policy Q&A support, compliance tracking, reporting) to keep the function efficient and scalable as the business grows.
  • Lead or support internal communications and events that build connection across a distributed/global team.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc People & Culture reporting to the Founder and leadership team.

ABOUT YOU

  • 6–8+ years' progressive HR/People & Culture experience, including at Manager or senior Advisor level.
  • Strong track record across performance management, employee relations, culture & engagement, and reward & recognition.
  • Solid working knowledge of Australian employment law and Modern Awards; US exposure highly regarded.
  • Experience leading or mentoring at least one direct report.
  • A genuine interest in using AI and automation to improve how HR gets delivered.
  • LMS administration experience (Employment Hero Learning, Go-1 or similar) highly regarded.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset — you'd rather simplify and automate than add headcount.

THE DETAILS

  • This is a 12-month fixed-term, part-time contract (Open to discussion, either 6 hour days across 5 days per week or 4 full days per week 7.6 days)
  • Covering parental leave, targeted to start mid-November 2026 with a two-week handover.
  • You'll be based at our Mornington VIC head office with a hybrid working arrangement, reporting directly to our Founder.
