Job Description We are seeking a People & Culture Officer who blends operational capability with thoughtful judgement. Someone ready to contribute to meaningful people strategies while excelling in the day-to-day delivery of P&C excellence. Deliver real impact across the full employee lifecycle - supporting leaders, engaging employees and ensuring consistent, high-standard P&C delivery. Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, creating a positive and professional employee experience. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements Provide practical employee relations and performance support to leaders and team members. Conduct objective, procedurally fair workplace investigations in line with policy, legislation, and best practice. Support capability, recognition and talent initiatives in partnership with department leaders. Coordinate and deliver learning, development and induction programs. Deliver workforce administration, reporting and data analysis with precision. Support managers and employees in the interpretation and application of industrial instruments, policies, and procedures. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our P&C systems, policies and processes. Plan and deliver engaging employee events and activations, that blend culture with creativity. Build strong, trusted relationships as a visible People & Culture partner across the hotel. Qualifications High emotional intelligence, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust, influence, and inspire credibility at all levels. Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture role, with exposure to employee relations, industrial relations, and performance management. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations thoughtfully and professionally. Sound knowledge of employment legislation and the Hospitality Industry Award. Proven ability to conduct workplace investigations and provide practical, fair guidance on employee matters. The ability to confidently deliver training and presentations to both small and large audiences. Strong organisational and administrative capability, with the ability to prioritise and pivot. Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Suite, with a focus on accuracy and insight. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience within a hospitality and/or luxury environment advantageous.
