As such, we are hiring a People Delivery Operations Specialist (m/f/d) - Portugal to support core HR lifecycle processes and act as our local point of contact for employee labor law questions. You manage everything from onboarding to payroll preparation, ensuring strict compliance while driving Workday improvements to enhance data integrity. Collaborating with Payroll, IT, and Talent Acquisition, you implement scalable solutions and resolve operational issues. You work toward creating a world-class operational foundation that balances efficiency with a best-in-class employee experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead and optimize core HR lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, contract management, job changes, employee data updates), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a best-in-class employee experience. Act as the primary interface for Portugal labor law inquiries, ensuring that all actions (from dismissals to amendments) strictly comply with the Portuguese Labor Law. Act as the HR systems authority, driving improvements, audits, and strategic use of Workday to enhance data integrity, reporting, and operational efficiency. Ensure enterprise-wide compliance and audit readiness, establishing and enforcing standards for personnel files, documentation, and HR processes across regions. Influence cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Culture Activation, HRBPs, IT, and leadership to streamline processes, resolve complex issues, and implement scalable solutions. Managing the end-to-end payroll preparation for the external provider, while maintaining seamless collaboration with the internal payroll accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance Champion process automation and optimization, identifying opportunities, piloting solutions, and driving adoption to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience. Support the standardization and enhancement of HR documentation and SOPs to ensure they remain clear, accessible, and aligned with best practices. Act as a contact for employees. Qualifications Core Capabilities & Skills: HR Lifecycle Know-How: Working on day-to-day HR requests and tasks, e.g., Time Tracking supervision, Payroll preparation, and administration. Confident power user of Excel and Google Sheets, capable of building efficient tools for data cleaning, payroll reconciliation, and reporting HRIS Systems (Workday): Data entry, auditing, and reporting. Service Desk Tools: Ticket management, SLA tracking, and query resolution. Document Management: File organization, electronic archiving, and version control. Process Automation Awareness: Familiarity with digital workflows, macros, or data import/export between systems (bonus). Compliance & Confidentiality: Understanding of GDPR, internal controls, and document retention policies. Friendly attitude, professional, and service-oriented mindset Good understanding of HR processes and basic employment law. Collaborative and service-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills: fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian is a must; French is a plus.
