Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a People & Development Adviser to join our national People & Development team, based in our Brisbane Office.
Working closely with both Brisbane based and interstate colleagues, this position reports into the Chief People Officer and draws assistance from the national team including P&D Administrators and a Recruitment Coordinator. The position is a key liaison and support to the Brisbane office of approximately 130 people.

Responsibilities will include, working with the Chief People Officer to:

  • Work with the Recruitment Coordinator in recruitment and selection processes, including interviewing and strategic sourcing
  • Prepare business cases to support recruitment
  • Coordinate, deliver and manage the annual recruitment campaigns for Summer Clerks and Law Graduates for the Brisbane office
  • Participate in performance and remuneration reviews, auditing and reporting activities
  • Provide commercially astute generalist HR support and advice to managers, Partners and staff

This position provides quality/challenging work with the support of a hardworking, close knit national team. This role would suit a junior HR practitioner looking to take on more responsibility within a supportive team or someone with professional experience looking to move into a HR role.
Experience within professional services or legal is not necessary for this position. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse industry backgrounds looking to try something new.
