We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People Development Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying learning needs, designing and delivering effective training and development solutions, and support a culture of continuous professional growth to improve individual and organisational performance.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • CIPD qualification is desirable

    Please note that this role is hybrid, with the option to work from home and commute to our offices in Corby & Cannock each week.
    The salary for this position is £37,500 per annum with a £7,960 per annum car allowance.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct training needs analysis and support with succession planning
  • Identify skills gaps and look at solutions
  • Work with managers to understand current and future training requirements
  • Design and develop and deliver learning programs
  • Facilitate training
  • Organise external training where necessary
  • Collect feedback and assess learning outcomes
  • Use metrics to measure impact and improve future programs
  • Assist with personal development plans and career progression paths
  • Schedule sessions, book venues, and manage learning platforms
  • Ensure smooth delivery and high engagement during training
  • Ensure all scheduled training is completed and systems are updated
  • Keep accurate training records for audits and reporting
  • Contribute to the development of the overall L&D strategy
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new tools, and best practices
  • Partner with local schools and colleges to assist with raising the profile of the company and industry
  • Support with employee relations activities when needed, recruitment, onboarding and induction schedules
