An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People & Experience (HR) Consultant to join Service Stream in our Telecommunications division based in Melbourne CBD!
About the Role
We are looking for a HR Consultant to join our Telecommunications division where you will play an integral role providing quality first line HR advice and support to our teams and leaders. Our Head Office, located directly across from Southern Cross Station, offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.

About The Role
In this role you will work as part of a team that is dedicated to supporting the division.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing HR advice and support to the business unit Managers.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of people processes and delivery.
- Facilitating HR support including recruitment, change management, performance management and succession planning.
- Supporting with activities related to the HCM system Workday.
- Supporting with delivering facilitated training initiatives as part of program implementation.
- Supporting with industrial matters including EBA negotiations and disputes and Fair Work claims to minimise cost and reputation exposure.
- Supporting with providing guidance and support to the business unit in relation to management of ER and IR cases, including preventative actions and key learnings.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in providing generalist HR and/or employee relations advice.
- Ability to partner with stakeholders, with strong communication and influencing skills.
- An understanding of industry best practice in terms of recruitment, promotion, skills development, conditions of employment and HR policies.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience with a large blue-collar workforce would be advantageous.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field would be highly desirable but not essential.
