Saga Education | Change the Equation What You’ll Do The People Experience Manager plays a critical role in fostering an equitable, transparent, and engaging employee experience. This role is responsible for leading employee relations practices that align with Saga’s culture and organizational values, while also driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, sense of belonging, and retention. As a member of the OD Team, this individual will advise leaders, influence organizational practices, and develop strategies that strengthen the overall employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Employee Relations & Compliance Serve as the primary contact for employee relations concerns, ensuring issues are resolved with fairness, consistency, and alignment to Saga’s culture and competencies Advise and coach managers and senior leaders on employee relations issues, interpretation of policies, and best practices Administer unemployment insurance and EEOC claims processing; partner with external counsel to resolve escalated matters as needed Develop, implement, and maintain employee-related policies and procedures that comply with federal and state laws Support HR compliance audits and lead related training initiatives, such as harassment and diversity training Culture & Employee Experience Facilitate employee engagement survey administration and support department leaders to improve outcomes Create, implement, and maintain an employee experience roadmap that fosters opportunities to connect, build community, and reinforce organizational culture Develop and oversee formal and informal employee recognition programs to celebrate individual and team contributions Partner with Organizational Development team members to analyze internal feedback (e.g., surveys, focus groups) and design strategies that strengthen engagement, retention, and employee satisfaction Establish, report on, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the employee experience, alongside the Organizational Development team Serve as the lead on Employee Resource Groups Performance Management Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the organization’s performance management framework Ensure that goal-setting, feedback, and evaluation processes promote equity, accountability, and professional growth Partner with senior leadership to align performance outcomes with organizational objectives Support the development of leadership capability and career growth opportunities across the organization Leverage performance data to inform career development, engagement strategies, and organizational development efforts Leadership & Collaboration Collaborate with People & Talent team members to ensure employee experience strategies are integrated across all HR functions Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leadership on matters related to organizational culture and employee well-being Lead other projects and initiatives as assigned What We’ll Use To Measure Success Mission Alignment - You recognize challenges in education and demonstrate a commitment to continuous growth and improvement.
