AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS NOW ARISEN FOR AN EXPERIENCED PEOPLE (HR) ADMINISTRATOR TO JOIN OUR ROTHERHAM HEAD OFFICE TEAM ON A MINIMUM 6-MONTH FIXED-TERM, PART TIME CONTRACT TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE, STARTING IN MID-JULY 2025.

Location: This role is based at our Head Office in Rotherham, S62 2XL (you need to be able to commute to this location).
Contract Type: Fixed-Term, Part-Time (approximately 23 hours per week)
Salary: £26,000 FTE (Pro rata: £15,600)
Your core hours will include a minimum of 5 hours on a Monday, with the remaining hours in the week to be mutually agreed with the successful applicant (no weekends).

Responsibilities

As People Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the People Business Partner and our Management team across a broad range of HR matters, including:

  • Provide first-line generalist support to employees and managers on HR issues as needed.
  • Support the finance team in the monthly payroll submission process.
  • Maintenance of personnel records and their upload into our HR platform including new starters, leavers and any ad hoc changes as well as maintenance of holiday and sickness records, ensuring data accuracy at all times.
  • Manage and enhance our HR platform including running of a variety of HR reports as required by the business, data uploads , task and workflow management.
  • Working closely with the People Business Partner and the wider management team on a variety of people projects as needed.
  • Administer our Head Office facilities services.
  • Reviewing current processes and documents, and creating new ones where required.
  • Manage all employee lifecycle administration including leavers.
