Are you an experienced Human Resources generalist who loves data? Are you passionate about ensuring the business is compliant with HR legal requirements? If so we have the role for you.
The People Information and Compliance Advisor is responsible for producing our monthly and ad-hoc reporting requirements and working closely with functional leads to ensure compliance with HR legislation and policy whilst educating the business on GDPR responsibilities and requirements.
Additionally this role will be an integral part of a number of people information technology projects such as HRIS and Workforce Management.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and talented HR team to help shape the HR strategy through improvements in HR data management and policy and procedure adherence.
Note, this role is office based.

Responsibilities

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS WILL BE:-

  • Own the Data Protection policy and reporting – conduct data breach investigations, work with the business to eliminate GDPR risks and educate employees on requirements and best practice
  • Produce the monthly reporting packs including HR statistics, trends analysis and commentary
  • Work with EMEAA subject matter experts on Compliance. Ensure UK reporting submissions are on time and comprehensive
  • Work with Commercial, Procurement, Finance and Quality on compliance requirements to ensure clarity of ownership, reporting and tracking
  • Work with the HR team to provide guidance on Subject Access Requests and Data Breaches, ensuring the procedures are followed within the defined timescales and produce reports as required.
  • Assist with HR System implementation, including HRIS, Time & Attendance and Payroll software along with process mapping to identify efficiencies

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:-

  • A love of data with strong analytical skills
  • A generalist HR background
  • Specialist knowledge or experience of GDPR would be a distinct advantage
  • Practical knowledge of Anti bribery and code of conduct policies including their implementation
  • Experience of HR systems implementation and process mapping would be an advantage
  • The ability to influence functional line managers and clearly communicate concepts, ideas and responsibilities
