See where your commitment could take you.   GHD has an immediate opportunity for a People Leader, Chile. The People Leader will have responsibility for the Chile region. This position will provide professional and contemporary strategic and operational people management advice and initiates human resource best practices to support the achievement of the region’s business objectives and GHD's overall strategic goals. The position is in our Santiago, Chile office, under a hybrid model. Key responsibilities and Experience Required:   Organizational Development  * Develop a strategy for growth. Contribute to the overall Chile business strategy from a people perspective and beyond, anticipate future human resources needs and develop scalable human resources processes to support a rapidly growing workforce. * Lead through high growth periods and implement effective organizational structure designs  * Analyzes talent data to provide insight to the region for training and learning/development priorities * Proven ability to cultivate and establish a positive organizational culture   Client first mindset  * Proven ability to develop and align leadership and business groups in support of achieving business strategy   * Champions Diversity & Inclusion through partnership with Center of Excellence and strategic partnership with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)   Coaching and Performance   * Mentoring and guiding leadership teams with an outcome based approach * Provides direct employee support through conversation and coaching on employment and career matters   * Collaborating with business leadership at all levels in operational matters   * Manages performance process, outcomes, and follow-up action for region   People Operations Excellence * Lead and inspire the local team to deliver People KPIs; align all People processes and programs to core values, strategic priorities and vision, in accordance with group policies. * Support systems and processes implementation to optimize People efficiency and enhance the employee experience. * Monitor People metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of People initiatives and make data-driven improvements. Workforce Planning/Succession   * Works with Regional General Manager and Center of Excellence partners on specific development and succession needs to ensure leadership bench strength * Proactively monitors and provides insights and solutions in relation to staff retention and attraction including a focus on wellbeing and diversity  * Partners with Talent Acquisition to support prioritization of recruitment in the region Learning and Development   * Develops a learning strategy to actively support the capability build and professional development of people within the region   * Analyzes talent data to provide insight to the region for training and learning/development priorities   Legal and Policy Compliance   * Ensures region people processes are consistent with company policy and local legal requirements   * Leads workplace investigations as required   * Region expert on GHD People Policies   Required skills and experience:   * Min 15 years professional experience   * Undergraduate degree in relevant field. Background in providing generalist HR / People Management advice and services at both the strategic and operational level   * Bilingual Spanish/English* (written & oral) with exceptional communication skills  * Must have experience in a professional service, consulting organization, Mining industry experience preferred   * May have functional depth of experience in recruitment, organizational development, employee relations, human resources processes and operations   * Ability to develop human resources strategies with hands-on execution being able to translate them into practical, actionable plans. * Ability to align human resources initiatives with overall business goals and foresee future trends to develop long-term strategies that support organizational growth. * Strategic mindset with the ability to explore new ideas, implement innovative human resources practices, and continuously improve existing processes to enhance organizational effectiveness. * Proven ability to establish excellent work and coaching relationships     As a multicultural organization, we promote individual achievements and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
