ABOUT THE POSITION

Foursquare is looking for a People Operations Associate to join our team in our San Francisco office; on a hybrid schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office.
This role will play a vital role in strengthening our employee experience. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Ops, this position supports a wide range of People Team functions, including systems management, data and analytics, onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in people operations best practices and a passion for building a supportive, efficient, and inclusive workplace.

The estimated annual total cash compensation range for this role is $75,000 – $90,000. While final offers may vary slightly based on individual qualifications, we aim to stay within this published range to support pay equity and transparency across the organization.
Salary is just one part of our total compensation package, which also includes restricted stock units, comprehensive health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, managing and triaging inbound questions and requests.
  • Administer day-to-day People Operations, ensuring alignment with internal policies and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support benefits administration, including open enrollment, qualifying life events, plan changes, and resolving employee claims or issues.
  • Manage and maintain employee-facing resources, auditing and updating the People Team’s documentation, tools, and knowledge hubs.
  • Coordinate the back-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire communications, benefits orientation, asset coordination, and feedback analysis.
  • Own and manage People systems and integrations, conducting regular data audits, supporting payroll processing, and partnering with stakeholders to drive accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain and update employee records in relevant systems with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support key people processes and operational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance the overall employee experience.
