Description

People Operations Associate (Part Time)
The Luminos Fund, a fast-growing international nonprofit bringing education opportunities to the world’s most vulnerable children, seeks an experienced People Operations Associate to support our global HR functions.
The People Operations Associate will play a key role in supporting the Global People Officer in administrative and HR-related activities, helping to ensure smooth operations and strong coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks across HR functions in a dynamic, global environment.
This part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) is remote or office-based (Boston, London, or Accra) and open to candidates located in GMT-5 to GMT time zones. Work hours will be confirmed based on the selected candidate’s location. The People Operations Associate will report to the Global People Officer and collaborate closely with colleagues throughout the organization. The role may involve some travel to challenging contexts in Africa and the Middle East.

To apply for this role, please complete the online application with your resume or CV and a cover letter describing why you are a good match for this position.
We often receive hundreds of applications for our roles, and many applicants submit cover letters generated by AI tools. We are looking for personal cover letters written by you, about you. We want to understand your interests, experience, and enthusiasm for the role. Cover letters written with AI support tend to be generic and do not give us enough insight into your unique profile.

You will be asked to confirm the following information as part of your application:

  • Permanent address and present address (if different from permanent), e-mail address, and telephone number
  • Disclose any existing personal relationships with existing Luminos Fund employees or Implementing Partners (IPs.)

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, scheduled hours and location. The salary range may differ to reflect local market conditions and cost of living considerations.
We are committed to ensuring competitive and equitable compensation for all employees, regardless of location. If you have any questions regarding how compensation may vary by location, please let us know during the application process.
The Luminos Fund is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status
