THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL BE LOCATED IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.

At Thrive Pet Healthcare, we believe that when people thrive, so does everything else. That’s why we’re looking for a People Operations Business Partner who is passionate about creating an exceptional experience for our team members and leaders.
In this role, you’ll be both a trusted advisor and a champion for culture, engagement, and development. You’ll partner closely with our Regional Directors of Operations and hospital leadership teams, providing strategic and hands-on support across a variety of HR areas—from employee relations and performance coaching to learning and talent planning. If you’re energized by building strong partnerships, solving meaningful challenges, and helping others grow, we’d love to meet you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

  • Build strong relationships with leaders and teams to understand their goals and challenges.
  • Help shape and deliver people strategies that align with business priorities.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and team development.
  • Lead talent planning and help identify high-potential team members and future leaders.
  • Coach and support managers on performance conversations, team dynamics, and employee development.
  • Champion engagement and culture-building initiatives that reflect our core values.
  • Collaborate with our Learning & Development team to meet training needs in the field.
  • Analyze and share people data to drive decisions and highlight opportunities.
  • Visit hospitals to provide onsite support and help ensure people programs are successful.
  • Lead or support employee relations and workplace investigations with care and professionalism.
  • Partner with the People Ops Director and cross-functional teams on special projects.
