Description
The People Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day employee experience at Barstool Sports. This person will facilitate core HR processes and support initiatives that strengthen efficiency and productivity. This hybrid position is based out of our New York office and will report to the Director, People Operations, on the People Team. What You’ll Do Act as a point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and programs. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for new hires and departing employees. Maintain and update employee data across HR systems (ADP and other platforms). Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including promotions, transfers, and status changes. Assist in the administration of benefits, payroll updates, and compliance reporting. Partner with the HR team to plan and execute company-wide initiatives, such as employee wellness events. Generate and track reports related to headcount and other HR metrics. Support HR compliance, documentation, and record-keeping requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement of People Ops workflows and the employee experience. What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, people operations, or a related administrative role. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Must have worked with ADP Workforce Now and have familiarity with Google Workspace. Comfort working in a fast-moving, creative environment with competing priorities. A sense of humor, curiosity, and passion for Barstool Sports culture.
