Own the end-to-end monthly German payroll, while supporting and providing coverage for France and US payrolls Manage the HR ticketing system, resolving incoming employee requests, including complex cases with longer resolution timelines Lead the company-wide onboarding process in close collaboration with HR stakeholders and the existing HR team Support employees across Germany, France, and the US, with a primary focus on Germany and early exposure to international HR operations through a rotation model Work with advanced HR and Finance-interfacing tools, continuously building expertise and ensuring operational excellence in a stable company environment Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency, scalability, and overall HR operational effectiveness What will you need to be successful? Hands-on experience running German payroll, ideally in a high-volume organization, with prior exposure to HR ticketing systems and Personio Experience working in an HR role within a start-up/scale-up company, demonstrating the ability to manage complexity and scale Fluency in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling sensitive HR and payroll data, combined with a high sense of ownership and reliability A proactive, collaborative communicator who works effectively with colleagues, leaders, and internal and external stakeholders A tech-savvy, solution-oriented mindset, comfortable working independently, improving processes through automation, and motivated by operational HR work and task completion You’re ready to start your journey with Tourlane full-time from 1st of March 2026.
