About the role We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-first People Operations Generalist to support the full employee experience and drive operational excellence across our growing team. At our startup stage, this role will also play a key part in helping us scale by supporting core recruitment processes. If you’re energized by building foundational people programs, supporting fast-paced hiring, and delivering exceptional employee experiences, we’d love to hear from you. *International applicants welcome* What you'll do Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries across HR policies, benefits, and internal programs Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS and related platforms Facilitate a white-glove candidate experience from application to offer Help organize and optimize recruiting workflows, templates, and internal documentation Ensure compliance with local labor laws Support documentation and reporting for audits, legal requests, and regulatory filings Maintain and refine HR policies, handbooks, and standard operating procedures Coordinate benefits enrolment, open enrolment communications, and employee questions in partnership with brokers Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying data and working closely with Finance or external payroll vendors Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition, and company events Help coordinate learning and development efforts, including scheduling trainings and tracking participation Support internal communications and HR branding to enhance employee connection and transparency Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and scalability in People Ops and recruitment practices Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in an HR, People Operations, or Talent role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment Experience supporting recruitment or coordination within a small team or scrappy setting Working knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance standards (international a plus) Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Rippling, Greenhouse, Lever) Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information Growth mindset and passion for improving both the employee and candidate experience Preferred Skills Experience supporting a distributed workforce Exposure to payroll processing, benefits, or vendor management Fluency in one or more non-English languages Why Join Us?
