MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR Expertise: Extensive experience in human resources management, with a strong focus on Latin American countries (Costa Rica and Argentina).
  • Employee Relations: Demonstrated success in managing employee relations, driving engagement initiatives, and leading Employee Resource Groups.
  • Growth and Development: Proven expertise in coaching employees and leaders, designing and implementing strategies for talent development, and fostering growth.
  • Conflict Resolution: Strong ability to mediate and resolve conflicts effectively, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential to facilitate effective communication across regions.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with G-Suite tools and experience working with HRIS platforms.
  • Office Management: Hands-on experience managing office operations, ideally within a hybrid work environment.
  • Location Requirement: Must be based in Costa Rica, with a mandatory requirement to work onsite three days per week.

  • Finance Knowledge: Background in finance or experience with budget management and workforce planning.
  • Multi-Country Experience: Knowledge of employment practices in both Costa Rica and Argentina.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to contribute to high-level People Ops strategies and align them with company goals.
  • Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Experience in talent acquisition and sourcing, with a strategic approach to identifying and attracting top talent in LATAM.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a dynamic People Ops Manager to lead our People Operations function across Latin America, with a focus on Costa Rica and Argentina. This person will be an integral part of our People team, driving employee engagement, growth, and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee People Ops functions across Costa Rica and Argentina, ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with regional regulations.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, focusing on enhancing workplace culture, building employee relations, and managing Employee Resource Groups.
  • Lead employee growth and development efforts, facilitating career paths, learning programs, and coaching.
  • Partner closely with Finance to manage budgets, workforce planning, and HR-related financial matters.
  • Manage in-office operations in Costa Rica, creating a productive and positive hybrid workplace.
  • Collaborate on People Ops strategies to drive an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with our values.
  • Assist with talent acquisition strategy to identify and attract top talent in LATAM, aligning hiring practices with organizational goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations matters, creating strong relationships and resolving conflicts effectively.
