ROLE OVERVIEW

Clarium is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented People Operations Manager to elevate our employee experience and ensure flawless, empathetic execution across the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with a founder’s mentality, and is equally excited about shaping high-level people strategy and ensuring operational excellence. This role balances hands-on execution with strategic coordination across Marketing, Finance, Leadership, and beyond.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Onboarding: Own end‑to‑end new hire experience—from offer acceptance to full immersion—creating welcome kits, orientation routines, and early-stage check‑ins that set people up to thrive.
  • Performance Reviews: Administer and enhance performance review cycle, including develop timelines, tools, manager training, communication plans, and feedback loops to drive continuous growth.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Partner with Finance and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate payroll; administer benefits programs (401(k), health, insurance), serve as first‑touch for related questions and complexities.
  • Equity Option Grants: Facilitate equity grant processes, including coordinating equity paperwork, alignment with leadership and legal, and educate employees on vesting and tax implications.
  • Insurance Programs: Oversee employee insurance benefits (health, dental, vision, disability), including being the point of contact to liaise with brokers, manage enrollments, and support employees through claims or plan changes.
  • Employee Engagement & Pulse Surveys: Design, deploy, and analyze regular engagement surveys, pulse checks, and recognition initiatives. Own feedback loop, and share insights with leadership as well as drive action plans.
  • On‑Site Planning (Biannual): Plan and execute two all‑hands or team on‑site events each year. This will include managing logistics, agendas, team building, budgets, and follow‑up to maximize connection and impact.
