At BrandAlley, we’re on an exciting journey of transformation, and we’re looking for an exceptional People Operations Manager/ Specialist to help lead the way. In this role, you’ll be the People Ops expert, ensuring our processes are efficient, our systems are connected, and our employees feel supported. A part of your mission, you will be embedding our new HRIS i.e. Cezanne, while owning people experiences from recruitment and onboarding to policy updates. What will you be doing?

  • Act as a strategic partner, owning hiring across all of BrandAlley. Delivering full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, managing processes and closing candidates. Building and maintain talent pipelines through direct sourcing. Reporting hiring metrics and pipeline data.
  • Build and deliver an exceptional on-boarding experience end to end ensuring new joiners are up and running in role ASAP and have all the tools they need. (Includes overseeing automated probation process.)
  • Oversee an automated offboarding experience, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with finance, IT and all departments. Leading on the ‘human parts’ such as exit interview and sharing learnings as appropriate.
  • Be the owner and lead for our HR system – Cezanne, ensuring starters, leavers, promotions, changes are all processed and formal documents updated.
  • Lead on the HR inbox – ensuring driving forward automation and efficiencies.
  • Manage contractor compliance, keeping IR35 documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Keep our people policies and processes fresh, relevant and aligned with our values and are transparent with all colleagues.
  • Collaborate with our Payroll Advisor as required, to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing when needed.
  • Be data focused, reporting monthly key metrics and driving forward improvements, efficiencies and exceptional experiences.
  • Drive smarter ways of working through automation and seamless systems integration.
  • Support learning and development by training the wider People & Culture team and managers with system and automation approach.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to make our People Operations function even more effective and exceptional experience for employees and line managers.

THE GOOD STUFF…

  • A strong track record in People Operations, ideally within a fast-moving business (we are 200 employees)
  • Hands-on experience with Cezanne HR system, you know what is possible and what good people experiences looks like.
  • Confidence working with data, systems, and reporting tools.
  • A keen interest and knowledge of employment law and IR35 compliance.
  • Tech-savvy and solutions-focused, always looking for ways to do things better and faster.Experience with product led people experiences is desirable.
