We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist (German speaking) at our Amsterdam HQ, 32–40 hours. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone who recently graduated or is ready for a first career move into HR and People Operations. What our People Operations Specialists do Support our retail teams, become the first point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and store managers across the DACH region Keep operations running smoothly, manage our HR administration, including contracts, change letters, and employee documentation Support payroll processes, prepare monthly people updates and collect relevant information on joiners, leavers, absences, and employee changes Own our HR systems, maintain and update employee information in HiBob and support retail scheduling processes in Tamigo Help managers stay ahead, proactively communicate about contract expirations, policy updates, and legislative changes Deliver a great employee experience, provide hands-on support with care, accuracy, and a people-first mindset Contribute to team projects, support People Partners with research and operational improvement initiatives Support workforce management, assist with scheduling, leave registration, and timesheet corrections across our retail stores You have A strong interest in HR and People Operations, some experience in HR, administration, or retail operations is a plus Educational background, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Language skills, a good understanding of German and English; Dutch is a big plus Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines accurately A proactive mindset, confidence working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment with changing priorities People-first approach, genuine motivation to create a positive employee experience Tech affinity, experience with HiBob or Tamigo is a plus, but not required What we offer €3.086 – €3.241 per month based on full-time, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The salary within this range depends on experience.
