Description

Location: Sydney | Hybrid Work Model Reports to: Deputy Chief People Officer, APAC Direct Reports: 1
Are you a strategic HR professional who thrives on turning vision into action? Aon is looking for a People Organisation Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact initiatives across the Asia Pacific region.
This role is perfect for someone with broad HR experience and knowledge, who can see the big picture and then dive into the granular detail to drive projects forward. You’ll work closely with our inspiring Deputy CPO and Chief People Officer, gaining exposure to senior leadership and shaping the colleague experience across the region.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

You might not tick every box, but if you meet most of the criteria and are excited about the opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!

  • 7–10 years of experience in HR, project management, consulting, or talent program delivery.
  • Experience working at a regional level in a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • HR data analytics experience or strong analytical skills.
  • A flexible, open-minded approach with the ability to pivot and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and collaboration.
Responsibilities
  • At the heart of strategic decision-making, working directly with the CPO and Deputy CPO.
  • Driving regional impact, not just local execution—your work will influence how people experience Aon across APAC.
  • Balancing strategy and execution, with the autonomy to shape initiatives and the support to deliver them.
  • Leading with agility, in a role that values adaptability, curiosity, and the ability to pivot as priorities evolve.
  • Mentoring and growing talent, with one direct report and the opportunity to build leadership capability
