About the role In this role, you will play a key part in supporting leaders to plan and deliver organisational change in a structured, compliant way, ensuring alignment with key priorities, design principles, policies and legislation. Alongside this core focus, you will also contribute to broader employee relations matters and people initiatives, working closely with Senior People Partners to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes across the function. Key responsibilities include: * Support leaders in the planning and implementation of organisational change initiatives, including restructures, process & people changes, ensuring compliance with legislative and industrial obligations. * Provide advice on role design, structural alignment, position description development, and assessment of workforce impacts arising from change, including capability gaps, redeployment implications, operational & industrial risk. * Partners with leaders to ensure organisational design initiatives are aligned to business plans, strategic priorities, and organisational design principles * Support in preparation of documentation and correspondence in people matters and change initiatives ensuring compliance with legislative, industrial and policy requirements. * Provide timely, practical and solution-focused advice to leaders on people management matters * Provide advice and guidance on the application of Enterprise Agreements, legislation and City policies * Support the management of employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, performance processes, and disciplinary matters * Engage with unions and employee representatives as required, under guidance where matters are complex or high-risk. About you To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant qualification in human resources management / industrial relations or similar field and /or significant professional experience in human resources management / industrial relations or similar field in a comparable organisation.  Essential Experience: * Some professional experience in human resources management / industrial relations or similar field. * Demonstrated people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders. * Good problem solving and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve task outcomes. * Developed writing and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes. * Well-developed planning and time management ability. * Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment as required by the task. * Current, valid driver's licence.
