Description

HELLO! WE’RE TEYA.

Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance.

BECOME A PART OF OUR STORY.

We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.

YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a People Partner to play a central role in delivering a best-in-class employee experience at Teya. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing people processes across a designated department or area, acting as the go-to strategic advisor for business leaders and employees alike.
From onboarding through to engagement, development, and retention, you’ll work to ensure every aspect of the Teyan journey is enriching, consistent, and aligned with our company values and goals.
Working closely with Centres of Excellence, you’ll bring people strategy to life on the ground—ensuring seamless implementation, promoting continuous improvement, and driving cultural alignment and high performance across teams.
This is a highly cross-functional role that requires excellent stakeholder management skills, strong HR knowledge, and a proactive, data-informed approach to people partnership.

In this role you will:

  • Support leaders in implementing people processes, driving engagement, managing performance, and planning workforce needs in line with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team to ensure a seamless recruitment process that prioritises both performance and culture fit.
  • Oversee onboarding and off boarding experiences, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to improve retention.
  • Promote participation in learning and development initiatives, helping identify skills gaps and development opportunities across teams.
  • Lead employee engagement efforts by analysing survey results, supporting action planning, and sharing best practices.
  • Partner on goal-setting and performance cycles, helping managers deliver fair, consistent, and growth-oriented feedback.
  • Work with leaders and FP&A to forecast workforce needs and ensure alignment with budget planning and cost optimisation.
  • Advise on compensation strategy and salary reviews, ensuring fairness and market competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and local legislation, adapting global HR processes where needed and maintaining high standards.
  • Act as a culture ambassador, supporting the overall Teyan experience and driving continuous improvement across all people practices.
