Description

WE’RE MORE THAN JUST A NURSERY GROUP. WE’RE THE UK’S MOST INNOVATIVE EARLY-YEARS EDUCATION PROVIDER, PROUDLY CERTIFIED AS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK AND RANKED THE 30TH BEST WORKPLACE IN THE UK.

At N Family Club, we dreamed of reimagining early years education. Becoming a place that fosters creativity, embraces a curriculum-led approach, and prepares children for the modern world. We’re proudly making our dream a reality – and we want you to be a part of it!
Our Support Office is the engine that keeps N Family Club running smoothly – from operations and finance to people, marketing, and strategy. We’re a tight-knit, fast-paced, and mission-driven team that works together to create exceptional experiences for families and team across all our nurseries. Whether you’re a seasoned expert or early in your career, you’ll be empowered to grow, contribute ideas, and make an impact every day.

Responsibilities
  • Partner and advice on People related topics, provide sound advice, coaching and/or training to team members at all levels
  • Act as a point of escalation on People challenges, ensuring legal compliance and our policies are continually being met.
  • Propose and implement solutions to blockers and challenges, which in turn will assist the wider team and managers, and team member experience and success metrics.
  • Lead a small team of People Assistants at different levels
  • Ensure the delivery of frustration free HR services across the company focusing on and evolving the employee experience.
  • Deliver training to relevant stakeholders and ensure that all new managers are inducted sufficiently into all People processes, policies and practices.
  • Support managers with a range of employee relation cases including fact-finding, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working, sickness, performance and probations etc.
  • Provide appropriate support to managers and team members in relation to employee wellbeing, including Occupational Health referrals, reasonable adjustments and mental health support.
  • Attend monthly regional managers meetings to upskill managers and provide relevant People updates.
  • Manage any issues and escalations in a timely and effective manner, identifying the root cause and solving for the immediate, but also for the future.
  • Produce and analyse People data – e.g., probation, annual leave, contracted hours etc. – for communicating trends and for identifying where processes need creating or updating.
  • Support change management (we are growing fast, so there is a lot to support) across new openings and acquisitions of existing nurseries.
