A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS HR SUPPORT ROLE WILL SEE YOU:
Providing front line responses to employee queries
Providing advice and support to employees and managers to ensure fair and consistent application of People policies
Working collaboratively with the broader People team to ensure seamless delivery of People initiatives and services
Enabling on-boarding and off-boarding processes
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with data integrity, compliance and audit standards
In terms of qualifications, experience and skills, we’re looking for:
Qualifications in human resources, an understanding of employee relations and at least a basic understanding of Australian employment law
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools
A keen eye for detail coupled with strong administrative, time management and organisational abilities
Well-developed communication skills
A proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
A willingness to learn coupled with adaptability and flexibility
Team orientation, collaborative style and a strong customer service orientation
Whist not essential, experience using SuccessFactors or another HR Information System (HRIS) is preferred.
Due to the nature of our business, applicants must also be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.
Whilst applications must be made online, confidential enquiries are welcome and may be directed to Cathy Riach, Talent Acquisition Director (clriach@qinetiq.com.au). A position description is available upon request.
Closing date for applications is 19 August, 2025
