DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in a People Partner or HR Business Partner role within a scaling, global, or international business - ideally within a tech-enabled, product-led, or high-growth environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring a People team (either directly or through influence), developing capability, and ensuring alignment across regions.
• Demonstrated success coaching and enabling managers to build high-performing teams, drive engagement, and navigate complex people challenges.
• A track record of owning end-to-end people processes across the full employee lifecycle including performance, development, compensation, engagement, and employee relations.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels - shifting seamlessly between big-picture planning and day-to-day delivery.
• Highly skilled at using data and insights to shape decisions, influence stakeholders, and measure impact across multiple regions.
• Experience in global or matrixed environments, collaborating across time zones, cultures, and seniority levels to deliver joined-up solutions.
• Adaptable, commercially minded, and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where structure, clarity, and outcomes matter.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a commercially savvy, driven, and outcome-focused Senior People Partner to join our People Team in London. You’ll partner closely with our Trading & Central Services teams, shaping strategy and driving impact across Europe, North America, and APAC.
This isn’t a typical BAU role - it’s high visibility, high impact, and hands-on. You’ll own relationships with senior leaders, influence decision-making, and deliver meaningful change across the full employee lifecycle. From creating exceptional candidate and employee experiences to designing people solutions that drive performance and engagement, you’ll be at the centre of how we scale with clarity and care.
Working closely with our Fractional CPO and collaborating with People & Talent colleagues globally, you’ll play a key role in one of Walr’s most strategically important growth areas. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, loves solving complex challenges with structure and clarity, is data-driven, commercially minded, and deeply people-focused and wants to shape and elevate the People agenda on a global stage .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with our Fractional CPO, Global People Lead, and regional People & Talent colleagues to ensure a joined-up strategy across markets and functions.
• Be a trusted partner to our global leaders and employees - building strong, credible relationships at every level.
• Own and deliver high-impact People processes across the full employee lifecycle, including performance, compensation, engagement, onboarding, off-boarding, and employee relations.
• Coach and develop managers to navigate performance, feedback, retention, and team development - equipping them to lead confidently and independently.
• Act as a strategic thought partner on org design, workforce planning, and talent strategy, helping leaders structure teams for growth and impact.
• Design and implement scalable, global frameworks that balance local compliance with a consistent, people-first approach to policies, processes, and programs.
• Leverage data and insights to influence decisions, track progress, and measure success across regions.
• Champion our culture and values, ensuring they’re lived, not just stated, and evolving intentionally as we scale globally.
• Stay ahead of employment legislation and compliance and advise on best practice to manage risk effectively.
• Contribute to global people initiatives that drive performance, engagement, and retention across diverse markets, balancing both local nuance and global consistency.
