QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

The candidate should have an academic degree (preferably in human resources) and a minimum of 5 years of progressive (human resources) experience. They should have broad experience and understand the complexity of leading people issues.

Further the candidate should have experiences with diverse and complex matrix businesses in and familiarity working within a People Shared Services & Centres of Excellence model.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail · Experience of managing / supporting HR projects
  • Capacity to understand how people issues impact the business and how People Services can create value for the organization
  • Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honours personal commitments
  • Ability to provide both verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively, as well as ability to influence others
  • Strong organisation skills are important, as well as strong attention to detail, an ability to multi task and see work through to full implementation
  • Ability to build key relationships and reach agreements and consensus despite differing goals and priorities
  • Demonstrates a pro-active approach · Ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Ability to use research methods effectively, including data collection, diagnostic, and analytical skills
  • Good working knowledge of employment laws and practices · Experience in people data systems and processes

This role will be responsible for operational people services delivery to all Arcadians, providing local expertise, advice, proactive solutions, and quality support through appropriate people frameworks, policies and procedures.
