Description

THE OPPORTUNITY: PEOPLE SERVICES OFFICER

We’re looking for a full-time People Services Officer to join the People & Capability team at our head office in South Brisbane (right near Southbank… and Messina, if gelato is your thing!). You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing team that’s passionate about making a difference.

In this role, you’ll help ensure we have the right people in the right roles by:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR support, responding to employment and general HR enquiries via email and phone.
  • Managing the HR Support inbox, triaging queries to relevant teams and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Preparing and issuing new starter documentation, validating working rights, and coordinating background and health screening checks.
  • Processing employment changes, drafting letters and managing exit administration.
  • Assisting with basic Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation queries, escalating complex matters to Employee Relations or Advisory teams.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, compliance registers, and safeguard confidential information.
  • Supporting People & Capability programs such as remuneration reviews, HR Projects, and ongoing process improvements.

ABOUT YOU

Our People Services team are widely recognised for the way each team contributes individually while working collaboratively to achieve team goals and support the wider business. We’re looking for someone with that motivation and drive to deliver great service and support to our people; someone with admin experience and a basic understanding of HR concepts, a customer-first mindset, and a keen eye for detail. You’re ready to expand your HR knowledge and thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
