Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT. About this role: The People Services Supervisor supports day-to-day activities of the HR Operations team, ensuring efficient HR systems management, compliance, and data accuracy across payroll, HRIS, and HR process workflows. This role also assists with training and quality management within the team. Accountabilities: Supervise and coordinate daily HR People Services activities, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and relevant regulations. Provide guidance and mentorship to the HR People Services team on best practices and troubleshooting for HR systems, helping to resolve complex issues and promoting excellence throughout the team. Oversee end-to-end HR processing to ensure timely and accurate data submissions, assisting employees with any discrepancies, issues or queries and identifying solutions. Collaborate with managers across HR to optimize workflows, data management, and system functionality for all HR systems and processes. Assist with employee relations by providing support to staff on HRIS usage, HR inquiries, and process-related issues, referring any complex or advanced problems to management for support. Conduct quality checks, audits, and compliance assessments to ensure regulatory requirements are met, ensuring strict documentation and record-keeping for governance purposes. Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Comprehensive knowledge of HR People Services procedures, with full knowledge of methodologies, processes, practices, and atypical issues within human resources. Good communication skills to persuade and influence. The role needs to adapt styles, interpret and explain information to differing audiences throughout the organization. Supervises a team of HR People Services professionals. Accountable for meeting team targets, delegating work and managing resources within the team, including line management duties. Frequently conducts detailed analysis and investigation to identify customized solutions for HR problems or needs, determine best options, or suggest improvements to existing methods. This role involves initiating communication with cross-functional teams to address and resolve shared issues, collaborate on processes or, and interpret or clarify technical information to enhance understanding.
