Job Description
The People Solutions Advisor is responsible for evaluating, analysing, implementing, and administering Human Resources programs and working with key stakeholders to build a relationship of trust, ensuring alignment between Human Resources strategy and overall business objectives.

We have had an exciting new opportunity open up and are currently on the lookout for a permanent full-time People Solutions Advisor to join our team based in Townsville! Reporting to a People Solutions Business Partner, this role will work closely with the leaders of the business, your local colleagues and the wider global People Solutions team.
You will be a valued contributor not only to the People Solutions team, but to your client accounts through providing accurate and timely advice, support and coaching on HR related matters that delivers clear benefits and outcomes.

Responsibilities

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Proactive management of absenteeism, performance and ER case management
  • Handling sensitive grievances and conducting complaint investigations
  • Contributing to the development, review and implementation of HR policies, strategies and initiatives
  • Providing coaching and advice to stakeholders in line with relevant awards, acts, regulations and policies
  • Facilitating inductions for new starting game-changers
  • Establishing and maintaining key relationships
  • Championing the CNX culture and driving employee engagement

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Qualification in Human Resources - highly desired
  • A broad range of generalist HR experience within a high-volume environment
  • Experience in navigating HRIS systems - Workday is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships with all employees, managers, and leaders within the business
  • A strong sense of attention to detail and have the ability to critically analyse and interpret information
  • The attitude to role-model our values and inspire others
  • The capacity to apply key elements of emotional intelligence to a wide range of interactions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • A natural mindset of success and solution
