JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As the People Team Leader (PTL), you’ll be responsible for managing and providing leadership to a Shift team (3 cycle shift) of Process Operators, Compliance Leads, Lead Operators, Trainers, with dotted line management of Maintenance Team Leads, Maintenance Technicians, Warehouse B2, and QC Analysts in the Cork Site to deliver the customer and business needs in a compliant manner that enhances the direct relationship culture.
You will lead by facilitating, coaching, mentoring and developing all members of the team. The PTL will be a driving force for the shift by creating an environment of continuous improvement using Lean principles and resources as well as Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and EHS Standards.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Professional degree level qualification (or equivalent) required.
• Experience of managing teams in a fast paced and complex environment.
• Dynamic decision maker, effective planner, and communicator.
• Experience in developing a strong working relationship with other shifts, day shift personnel, and other support departments.

• EHS: Responsibility for emergency procedures, safety systems, safety performance, communication and behaviours on the shift.
• Ensure all safety and compliance activities are addressed on shift.
• Ensuring that plant and equipment is operating in a compliant manner and that all activities are conducted to meet GMP regulations, site and corporate quality standards and any additional regulatory requirements as required
• Ensure 5S standards are maintained and improved
