Description Loan Documentation Specialist II- Commercial Loan Documentation Dahlia Building | Hybrid Work from Home (3 days per week in office) Bellingham, WA Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm | 40 hours per week A Day in Your Life at Peoples Bank: As a Loan Documentation Specialist II, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of commercial loan documents and assuring the documentation of collateral is secured in the interest of Peoples Bank. Your Primary Responsibilities Would Include: Preparing & processing loan documents for commercial loans, including new loans and change in terms. Preparing & processing loan documents for SBA loans. Setting up loan files for commercial loans and verifing for completeness. Setting up commercial loans on the Bank’s loan processing system. Perfecting documentation of collateral for commercial loans and ensuring that the Bank is legally secure. Filing initial UCC to perfect the Bank's interest. Adding loan conditions to nCino for post doc follow-up. Providing support to Commercial Loan Officers and their Assistants as needed. Checking back other processors booked loans for accuracy. Setting up and renewing ACH commitments on the Bank’s processing system. Reviewing commercial decline and withdrawn loan packages for completeness. Requirements What You Bring to the Team: You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. You have a minimum of 2 years of banking experience with commercial loan knowledge preferred. You should have a basic knowledge of Federal and State compliance regulations. You have knowledge of loan documentation, loan policies, processes and procedures. You have a strong working knowledge of Word and Excel. You have the ability to work under pressure with attention to detail. You work with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality. You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written. You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality. You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
