WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years of banking experience.
  • You have knowledge of insurance, escrow, and FNMA requirements.
  • You may have previous loan servicing, loan documentation, or loan processor experience.
  • You have a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • You have been working in a customer service role for 1 year or more.
  • You possess knowledge of and compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • You work with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
  • You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
  • You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality.
  • You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
  • You have the ability to model the Peoples Bank Mission, Vision, and Values.

Responsibilities

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:

  • Processing loan advances and payments received daily.
  • Performing loan research for branch offices and customers.
  • Receiving, processing, and responding to loan payoff requests and processing paid loan files.
  • Managing Service Desk tasks, including inquiries specific to job duties.
  • Processing final title and deed of trust documents.
  • Managing escrow processing, including annual escrow analysis and escrow disclosure process.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve loan-related issues.
  • Supporting the implementation of new loan servicing procedures and technologies.
  • Participating in training sessions to stay updated on loan servicing practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
