Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Consultant – Payroll
Location: Hybrid, Michigan-based. 2-3 days/week in person.
Type: Full-Time (W2) / Contract (1099 or C2C)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Consultant to support and optimize our Payroll processes on PeopleSoft HCM 9.2. The ideal candidate will configure, troubleshoot, and enhance payroll functionality, manage related pay items, implement customizations, and recommend process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· 5+ years of PeopleSoft HCM experience, with Payroll expertise.
· Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2.
· Strong understanding of pay items, deductions, and payroll integrations.
· Experience with PeopleSoft customizations and reports (PS Query, XML Publisher).
· Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
· Experience with Time & Labor, Benefits, or Absence Management.
· Exposure to PeopleSoft upgrades, PUM images, or integration tools.
· Automation/RPA experience in payroll processes.
