The Opportunity We are seeking vibrant and committed hospitality professionals to join our Signature Restaurant team at Peppina. As a F&B Expert, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through engaging service, beverage expertise, and genuine hospitality. Working within the restaurant, you will be responsible for serving our premium food offerings, engage with guests, and supporting the delivery of a seamless dining experience. You will bring our food offering to life through product knowledge and thoughtful recommendations while maintaining the high standards of service and presentation synonymous with Peppina and The Tasman. You will also support the opening and closing of the restaurant, maintain stock and presentation standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of service throughout each shift. Key Accountabilities * Deliver seamless food and beverage service, ensuring timely and elegant delivery of dishes from kitchen to table * Take accurate orders and provide knowledgeable menu guidance to enhance the guest experience * Host and engage with guests, creating a warm, welcoming, and personalised dining atmosphere * Bring the menu to life through storytelling of dishes, ingredients, and culinary inspiration * Support restaurant opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational readiness and closure standards are met * Manage accurate billing and payment processing to conclude service efficiently * Maintain strong communication with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service flow * Uphold exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and service standards at all times * Contribute to an elevated, immersive dining experience aligned with Peppina’s signature offering Profile * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a hospitality environment * Genuine interest in and knowledge of local Tasmanian produce * Experience in sequence of service and premium plated dining delivery * Experience in using POS ordering systems * Enjoys storytelling and sharing the history and inspiration behind food and dishes * Strong work ethic with a commitment to exceptional guest service * Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail * Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate * Full working rights in Australia * Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays Rewards for work, benefits for your lifestyle * Join a supportive, progressive, and highly experienced team * Be part of something truly unique within The Tasman experience * Access generous benefits and discounts for yourself, family, and friends across over 9000+ Marriott properties worldwide * Extensive career development, learning, and growth opportunities * Wellbeing programs and initiatives designed to support you personally and professionally * Enjoy a relaxed lifestyle with easy access to world-class events and experiences across Tasmania Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
