Description
Windwalker Security Guards will provide a variety of services, which may include, but is not limited to the following tasks: Management of visitors at access control points with a combination of utmost courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism. Consistently resolute professional appearance and demeanor of public-facing employees. Validate strict compliance with security standards. Emphasis on interaction with affinity participants such as local, state police, and DHS. Ensure high standards of conduct/zero tolerance for non-professional behavior. Effective and transparent employee discipline procedures. High touchpoints between and among contract employees, client management, and company managers. Preparedness planning for effective response to potential crises. Provide high level customer service to clients through daily interaction with students, staff, faculty and visitors. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years old Ability to pass a background check Ability to react quickly to a changing environment Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats. Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills Possess an ability to be flexible and perform a variety of security duties PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role preferred Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment preferred CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III Certifications highly preferred Associates degree or greater in Criminal Justice related studies Experience in documenting, observations, customer service and security procedures Previous concierge experience
